Black Clover Chapter 259 Recap
Chapter 259 of Black Clover was the major breakdown so far. The chapter began with Asta’s devil giving his power to the right arm of Asta- “That right arm isn’t like it was before.” “It is power itself.”
But every time, there is a limitation to something powerful- “You’ve got 50 seconds”. “Your body won’t hold out past 50 seconds”. And then, our overexcited Asta yelled- “That’s long enough”.
Asta charges in at Dante cut his tentacles. Dante retaliates with the remaining tentacles. Dante becomes more careful as he knows that a single blow would determine whether Dante lives or not. And Yami noticed this factor that Dante is being extremely careful as a single blow from Asta’s right arm will result in their victory.
But, there is no doubt that Dante is super powerful and he still wanted to defeat them. So, Yami steps in the battle. Finral noticed that both Asta and Yami is fighting with accurate sync. Even Finral agreed that in this desperate situation, they both were having fun.
With 8 seconds remaining, Asta dwells his Demon Dweller Sword but somehow, Dante managed to steal it. Then Asta dwells his Demon Detroyer sword but again Dante managed to prevent the attack.
With 3 seconds remaining, Yami used his attack in order to defeat Dante but it didn’t affect him at all. And now with 1 second left, Yami passed his Katana to Asta swiftly and Asta landed the last blow on Dante successfully.

Zenon closes in on Yami .
Zenon is not trying to kill Finral….it was a finishing blow to Asta….finral appears and teleports the bones aimed at Asta and saves him.

Chapter ends with Yami being captured.
Zanon coming in to clean up everything was amazing. Also seems like he has a second magic attribute that’s maybe similar to teleporting. Asta also tried to get his Devil help again but was rejected for being weak. Hopefully everything becomes more clear when the chapter comes out.
Yami looks like he knows it’s over. He recognizes Zenon as another of Spade’s devil hosts that’s at least as strong as Dante, and he’s wrecked from the Dante fight. He just lets himself be taken quietly so the other Black Bulls members don’t get killed. Dark Out seems about right.
